This evidence-based training equips adults working with youth ages 12–18, including parents, adult relatives of teens, volunteers, educators, and mentors, to support their mental health needs. Provided by Everstand, a nonprofit dedicated to building resiliency in youth and families, the training covers topics like adolescent development, recognizing mental health challenges, and effective response strategies. Participants will gain practical tools for both crisis and non-crisis scenarios, along with self-care practices for caregivers.
To earn a 3-year certification from the National Council of Mental Wellbeing, participants MUST attend all three sessions. Unfortunately, this training is not open to those younger than 18 years of age. By registering, you consent to share your contact information with Everstand for necessary certification materials and surveys.
Dinner provided Jan. 24 and 31, light refreshments provided Feb. 1.
