The Latest on Reopening

We recognize that while content is important (just look at all of it below), what we’re all missing is community — the chance to see people in person and just connect. So we have some important updates on that front. Our number one priority is safety, for you and for our community. We have a group of medical and other health professionals advising us on when and how we might be able to gather together in our building again. Based on their expertise and recommendations — in addition to looking at COVID-19 case trends and school-reopening policies — we have determined that we will not have indoor church services until July 3, 2021. However, we’re resuming our outdoor drive-in service that will continue in the church parking lot every Sabbath (Saturday) at 12:30 p.m. through June, weather and county guidelines permitting.

Our Reopening Committee will be monitoring specific health markers (e.g., trends in vaccination rates and case numbers) to make sure we reopen safely. We will provide more information as we get closer to July. We remain committed to living out the kingdom of God wherever we are, and that includes doing so in a way that promotes the health and safety of our church and broader community.

Until then, we’re going to continue to have opportunities for us to connect online and explore options to meet in small groups in person. Be sure to stay up to date with the latest by signing up for our College-age newsletter.
